SGP in Tower
Supine groin progressive in tower
The primary purpose and use of the Tower in this exercise is to get a passive release of the psoas and illiacus muscles, and as these muscles release it allows the pelvis and the lumber spine to return to a more functional position. These muscular and skeletal changes in the lumber spine and pelvic area have a chain reaction effect moving into the upper body, which allows the thoracic and cervical spine to settle into a more functional position as well. This in turn, gives the scapular and shoulder girdle the opportunity to settle into a more functional and proper position as well. This exercise does take a bit of time to complete, a minimum of 30 minutes on each side, doing this on a daily or weekly basis is one of the best treats you can give your body.
